About the Instructor
Instructor's Resume

Carol M. Stiff has been involved in plant tissue culture research since the mid 70's.  She holds a BS in bacteriology, an MS in plant science, a PhD in forest science, and an MEd in Industrial Education (Computer Technology and Adult Education).   During her last 3 years at the Washington State University, Carol taught undergrad and graduate classes in plant tissue culture and genetic engineering.  She started her own company, Kitchen Culture Kits, Inc. in 1998 and continues to guest lecture and teach workshops around the country.  Carol has written several plant tissue culture manuals, a CD, and is currently working on a video about home plant tissue culture.
