Austin Community College recycling procedures:
- Large recycling
containers are located throughout the buildings (duplication centers,
breakrooms, and student lounges). Smaller, blue, deskside recycling

- Custodial staff
collects the contents and deposits to larger exterior facility containers.
The recyclable materials are then collected by a contracted company
and transported to a recycling center.
- The Facilites
& Operations department is responsible for oversight and coordination
of the recycling program. Please contact via e-mail dcaraway@austincc.edu ,
should you have any questions.

If the bottle contained motor oil, bug spray, weed killer, adhesives,
paints or solvents, it cannot be recycled no matter what type of plastic
it was made from.
