Faculty Evaluation: Portfolios for adjunct faculty were reviewed by this committee in February. Feedback forms were then forwarded to the Dean of SBS in early March & will be sent to adjunct faculty by his office. Notification of MSTA appointments has been sent through the eStaffing system (to the email address on file with those folks).
Professional Development: This committee is hoping to put on a 4 hour seminar on either foreign policy or third parties. Send preferences for which topic, and when to schedule this (weekend or week night?) to Karry Evans. If you would like to help contact possible speakers or organize this, please also contact Karry Evans (kevans@).
Adjunct Faculty: Classes still need to be staffed for the summer and this committee is continuing to interview applicants.
Student Assessment: This committee has drafted the rubrics to be used in grading the student assessment tests. All full-time faculty will be sent a packet of questions to grade. Adjunct faculty who would be willing to participate in grading should contact Frank Garrahan at 223.4805. We'll review the results of this assessment at the May Dept meeting.
1. Mr. Miles recommended that an adjunct faculty member be added to the Faculty Evaluation Committee. This is currently prohibited according to ACC's administrative rules but if you would support this, and like to work toward this change, contact Mr. Miles or the Adjunct Faculty Association.
2. Karry Evans is developing an honors course with an international focus and the TF approved this course. To review her proposal contact her for a copy.

4. Textbooks: The Burns, Peltason and Cronin text and study guide were added to the approved list for U.S. Government.
The Brown Bag will be at 12:30 in the same room.
