As of May 2001, SWTSU's information on the web for transfer students includes course equivalencies but does not include requirements for specific degrees. Their statement: "Courses shown here as direct equivalents may or may not be applied toward your degree. To determine the applicability of any course you must contact the Dean's Office of your major and obtain a degree outline."

The Core Curriculum list includes several math courses. It is not clear from the information on the web which degrees require the exact math courses listed in the degree outlines in the SWTSU catalog and which degrees allow any math courses from the Core Curriculum. No doubt that will be clarified in future catalogs. (The concept of a "core curriculum" and the state requirements for it are fairly new.)
