Mary Parker's Hints on Web Pages, etc.
Where to Learn More

In my opinion, by far the best way to learn more about making Web pages is to find a friend who is a couple of months ahead of you in making Web pages and ask them questions as needed. Asking questions by email is completely reasonable and not much of a hassle for you or for your friend.

I also found that taking Internet courses from Virtual University, ZD University, and reading books online were excellent ways to learn how to make Web pages. Since I began this, there have been numerous changes. ZD University moved all of their courses to SmartPlanet and MCP online books quit and forwarded their URL to informit.com. I haven't done as much with these latter two, but they appear to have the same types of resources that I found so useful.

There are also short courses and even full semester courses at ACC.
