Summary statistics on Withdrawal Information web page use

As we discussed in the committee meetings where we developed these web pages, we want to work toward better service to our students by gathering some information from students contemplating withdrawal.

On this set of web pages (http://www.austincc.edu/withdraw/) we are gathering data on the the answers given and the amount of time on each page.

I realize that the summary above has more than most people will want to see at first. Start at the top and only go to the lower parts if you're interested. As of today, June 9, there is very little data, because we only started tracing it yesterday. But, as time goes by, more data will accumulate.

Expected enhancements:

Not all possible cross-tabulations are included. If you have some particular other cross-tabs that you would find useful, please tell me.

At the current time, I'm not including data on hits on the "additional information" about each of the consequences and resources. I do expect to add these.

Drawbacks:

Since this is just an Withdrawal Information form, and not an actual withdrawal form, we don't have identifying information about the student, nor did we ask exactly which course the student is considering withdrawing from. (To ask either of those would perhaps imply that this is initiating an actual withdrawal, and we don't want to do that.) Of course, when ACC has an actual online withdrawal form, we will be able to gather that information as well as the information gathered here.
