IPC Retreat
“It was a dark and stormy night…” So began the Trick or Treat activity as a gaggle of ghoulish goblins joined together to begin developing ACC’s Master Plan for 2010-2012 at the Institutional Planning Council Fall Retreat on Oct. 31. See more here… Institutional Planning Council website.

Transportation Survey
ACC is urging all students, faculty, and staff to take a few minutes to participate in a brief survey regarding various parking and transportation issues at our campuses. To participate in the survey, please use this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=ohuFFZVKknTRq3uoOurhMg_3d_3d. Survey responses will provide valuable input into future decisions about campus parking and alternative transportation strategies. The Transportation Survey will be available until December 1, 2008. If you have any questions or need technical assistance, please contact Dr. Richard Griffiths at (512) 223-7606 or at rgriffit@austincc.edu.

Internal College Survey
OIEA would like to thank everyone for their participation in completing the Internal College Survey over the past several years. With the approval of the ACC Board of Trustees, the Internal College Survey has been discontinued and will be replaced in 2009 with a new administrative review process being developed by a subcommittee of the Achieving Excellence Committee. If you have any questions, please contact Dr. Michael McCarthy at (512) 223-7893 or at mmccarth@austincc.edu.

SENSE Update
OIEA would like to thank all faculty and students that participated this fall in the Survey of Entering Student Engagement (SENSE). The SENSE data collection was completed successfully and the survey results should be available in late Spring 2009. You may learn more about SENSE from the project Web site at http://www.enteringstudent.org. If you have any additional questions about the SENSE, please contact the ACC SENSE coordinator, Mike McCarthy, at 223-7893 or mmccarth@austincc.edu.
