Instructional Program Review is an essential part of academic stewardship and is required for accreditation
by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS),
“3.4.10 The institution places primary responsibility for the content, quality, and
effectiveness of the curriculum with its faculty. (Responsibility for curriculum)”
Faculties use the Instructional Program Review process framework to conduct an reflective evaluation of the
content, quality, and effectiveness of the program’s curriculum. When done well, Instructional Program Review
enhances and ensures the quality the community has a right to expect of our instructional programs.
