Our Mission:

The mission of the Accreditation (Childcare Quality Improvement) Project is to assist child care program directors in improving the quality of care they provide for children and families. The NAEYC Accreditation self study tools are used to provide Standards and Criteria to assess program quality and develop an individualized Program Improvement Plan.

Our Goals:

Our goals are to provide: NAEYC accreditation support for childcare centers serving low income families; NAEYC Accreditation " Fix-It" consultations; and inform providers and parents about the new NAEYC Accreditation Standards and Criteria. An application for participation in this program may be printed and faxed ((512) 223-5219) or sent via regular mail to the address below.
