Mission:
The mission of the Accreditation Project is to assist child care program directors improve the quality of care they provide for children and families. The NAEYC Accreditation Standards and Criteria provide tools to assess program quality and develop an individualized Program Improvement Plan.
Goal:
Our goal is to provide: NAEYC accreditation support for childcare programs serving Austin / Travis County families. NAEYC Accreditation consultations and trainings are offered at no cost to inform and support providers in use of the new NAEYC Accreditation Standards and Criteria.
Participation Options:
Full participation is available for programs serving 25% low income families. An application for participation in this program may be
printed and faxed ((512) 223-5219) or sent via regular mail to the address below.
All Austin area Child Care Program Directors interested in NAEYC Accreditation Self Study are invited to attend monthly Director Study and Network meetings and to request free Accreditation site consultation or trainings. See calendar page for details.
