Austin Community College (ACC) hosts its annual Health Sciences Open House Saturday, February 23, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Eastview Campus, Building 8000 (3101 Webberville Rd.) for prospective students and their families to explore careers in healthcare.

Guests are invited to tour facilities, speak with faculty and students, view live demonstrations, and learn how to get started. 

“Healthcare is one of the most in-demand careers in Central Texas. The need for qualified healthcare workers continues to expand,” says Pat Recek, ACC dean of Health Sciences. “Guests can walk inside our labs to get a first-hand look at all the options and training needed to have a fulfilling career.”

Hosted by the Health Sciences Division, the event is free and open to the public. Registration is not required, but is recommended at austincc.edu/healthcareers. Check-in is available in Building 8000, Room 8500.
