Austin Community College (ACC) invites students, faculty, and their families to celebrate culture, art, religion, business, and language from across the globe at the second annual International Festival 6 p.m. Friday, March 29, at ACC Highland, Building 4000 (6101 Highland Campus Dr.).
“It’s important people have a chance to share different cultures, have open conversations, and explore the diversity of Austin,” says Matthew Daude Laurents, ACC Liberal Arts dean. “We have a terrific lineup this year, including some return appearances and our own jazz ensemble.”
Sponsored by the Liberal Arts and Art & Digital Media departments, the event includes a Chinese Dragon performance and other cultural shows and demonstrations. Food and refreshments are provided.
