Austin Community College (ACC) offers training sessions, webinars, and support tips to support your transition to remote working, teaching, and learning environments.
REMOTE WORK
The Office of Information Technology produced the ACC Virtual Workspace Site and Getting Started Remotely guide with links to resources, videos, and tips on working from home for employees working remotely.
ONLINE TEACHING AND LEARNING
The Teaching and Learning Excellence Division (TLED) has created a Teaching Online Continuity Guide to help faculty transition to online teaching and learning. Resources include a guide to get started, a chart comparing web conferencing tools, and a list of trainings and webinars that is updated weekly.
TLED has also launched a Keep ACC Teaching! Facebook group to help foster community and allow faculty and staff to share tips and resources while working remotely.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
The Office of Staff Professional Development and Evaluations developed a LinkedIn Learning page with resources for supervisors and employees to work remotely. Employees who do not have access to LinkedIn Learning need to activate their license first. Instructions are listed here.
HR also created a supervisor page dedicated to additional training for them, which is updated weekly.
The Center for Nonprofit Studies waived nearly all fees for its online classes through the end of May. Offerings include:

HEALTH & WELLNESS
Human Resources now offers wellness classes online. These virtual classes are available to all ACC employees. Pre-registration is not required, and family members are invited to participate as well. Employees must be logged in using their ACC Google account in order to access the classes via Google Hangout.
