In just 24 hours, the Central Texas community donated more than $8,100 to ACC student scholarships and emergency aid. Tuesday, December 1, 2020, marked the annual #GivingTuesday campaign, an international day of charitable giving. For the fifth year in a row, the ACC Foundation participated with all proceeds going directly to support students in need.

"I’d been struggling financially, having to drop shifts to be able to study enough to stay on top of my grades,” says Sharon Grant, ACC student scholarship recipient. “(My scholarship) was just a huge relief. I already had so much on my mind with studying and mastering new skills. (Paying for college) was (suddenly) just one less thing I had to worry about. I was really grateful for that.”

Since participating in #GivingTuesday, the ACC Foundation has raised more than $15,910 for student support.
