Austin Community College District (ACC) students can participate at the annual 2021 Texas Tribune Festival (TribFest). The annual event invites the community to take part in bold discussions about politics, public policy, and the day’s news from Monday, September 20 through Saturday, September 25. 

This year, TribFest is providing access to student-only events, panel discussions, and networking opportunities for multiple events. Students also have access to deeply discounted tickets for just $49, versus $199. 

This year’s headliner speakers include:

• Amy Klobuchar, U.S. Senator, D-Minnesota
• Nikole Hannah-Jones, staff writer at The New York Times Magazine and creator of “The 1619 Project”
• Chris Christie, former governor of New Jersey
• Annette Gordon-Reed, Pulitzer Prize-winning author and historian and law professor at Harvard University
• Beto O'Rourke, former U.S. Representative, D-El Paso
• Karl Rove, Republican strategist and former White House deputy chief of staff
