March is Women’s History Month, an annual celebration to reflect on past, present, and future women who have made an impact. ACC commemorates the month with a series of events.
This year’s theme is a Cultural Mosaic: A Celebration of Women’s History. The events are sponsored by ACC’s Truth, Racial Healing &Transformation (TRHT) Center, Office of Experiential Learning, Teaching & Learning Excellence Division, and Latin American Studies Center.

Women's History Panel: “Global Storytelling About Women: Empowerment and Disruption”
Date: Tuesday, March 28
Time: 5 to 7 p.m.
Location: Highland Campus, Building 2000, Room 2.1550 (Presentation Hall)
What: A panel discussion examines the global studies about trailblazers and disrupters, the feminine ideal in fairy tales, monstrous depictions of women, and true stories of indigenous women’s political empowerment.
A Celebration of Women’s History: Our Reach, Life, Love, Resilience
Date: Thursday, March 30
Time: 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Location: Highland Campus, Building 2000, Recital Hall
What: The public is invited to a series of evening readings presented by the ACC Creative Writing Department.
