“I could not be more proud of our students, faculty, and staff. ACC is committed to helping our students achieve their educational goals, which will improve their earning potential,” says Dr. Richard Rhodes, ACC Chancellor. “The power of getting that credential helps our students earn more. I am truly amazed at their work and perseverance through the rising cost of living and a pandemic.”
ACC’s celebration honors those who have completed an associate degree, workforce certificate, or high school equivalency program. Speakers include ACC Chancellor Dr. Richard Rhodes, ACC Board of Trustees Chair Nan McRaven, the ACC Student Government Association president, and the spring 2022 Chancellor's Student Achievement Award recipient.
Mr. Abdul Sabhani will deliver the keynote address. Subhani serves on the Board of Directors for the Austin Community College Foundation. He also is the founder and President/CEO of Centex Technologies, an IT Consulting Company. Subhani has been awarded the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award from the NAACP, State of Texas Small Business Award from the Office of the Governor and Texas Workforce Commission, and is a recipient of the 40 under 40 award from Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association.
