For a sixth year, Austin Community College District (ACC) joins Amplify Austin — a community-wide day of charitable giving. The ACC Amplify Austin Campaign begins this week and provides financial support to help ensure students don’t have to choose between their academic and career goals and paying their bills.
Amplify Austin officially begins 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, and runs through 6 p.m. Thursday, March 2. Donations also can be accepted early. Proceeds will benefit the college’s Student Emergency Fund. This year’s goal is to raise $50,000.

There are many requests that would have been declined had we not had those funds. To me, each of those requests is a person with goals and dreams, and we were able to get them another step closer,” says Angelica Cancino de Sandoval, ACC’s Director of Special Support & Grants.
